Emo Nite - Marketing Coordinator

Responsibilities Develop and manage a comprehensive social media calendar for Emo Nite, Grave Rave, Graveboy Records, and CD Burners, including post scheduling, community management, and engagement across various platforms. Stay abreast of current trends on TikTok and other social media platforms, creatively integrating the brand into relevant cultural conversations. Foster a positive online community by engaging with comments, monitoring inboxes and direct messages, reposting user-generated content, and promoting a welcoming environment for our audience. Assist the Marketing Manager in distributing marketing plans and materials for Emo Nite events to promoters and artists, ensuring successful event promotion. Design and execute email and text campaigns to enhance Emo Nite event visibility and attendance. Assist in updating marketing assets when needed (e.g., refreshing or changing dates, guest artists, announcements). Monitor ticket sales, develop targeted paid advertisements, and implement digital marketing strategies to boost event performance. Assist onsite at events when needed and perform occasional errands. Complete other projects and initiatives as identified. Qualifications Proven experience in social media coordination, marketing, or a related field. Strong understanding of current social media trends and platforms. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Creative problem-solving and analytical thinking. Excellent organizational skills with a detail-oriented approach. Knowledge of experiential marketing principles and live event production. Up-to-date with the latest social media, meme, and internet culture. Functional knowledge of digital marketing and successful content strategy development. Strong technical skills in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator), Canva, and CapCut. Valid driver’s license. Works in dynamic, loud, and temperature‑variable event environments and is willing to travel during holidays, evenings, and weekends. Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels and busy environments in dynamic work locations. Must be willing to travel onsite during holidays, evenings, and weekends as required to meet deadlines. All other projects and initiatives as identified. Work Environment & Requirements Must be able to tolerate loud noise levels & busy environments in dynamic work locations. May work in drastic temperature climates while on site at events. Must be willing to travel to work on site during holidays, evening and weekend hours, as required, to meet deadlines. Position is not remote; frequent on‑site event travel required.
