Registered Nurse NICU

Job Summary:
Provide specialized care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU setting. This travel RN position involves working overnight shifts with float duties to various nurseries, ensuring the health and safety of fragile newborns.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to neonatal patients in a Level III NICU.
• Assess and monitor vital signs, medical conditions, and developmental needs of newborns.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and life-support measures as prescribed.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain detailed medical records.
• Adapt to float responsibilities across nurseries, maintaining high standards of care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with at least 1 year of neonatal intensive care experience.
• Demonstrate proficiency in NICU protocols and pediatric critical care.
• Possess recent experience working in a Level III NICU setting.
• Be able to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) and float to different units.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
• Have current BLS and NRP certifications.
