We are seeking an experienced, proactive Safety Manager to lead safety initiatives across our manufacturing facility and active construction sites based out of Rhome, TX. This role is ideal for someone who is boots‑on‑the‑ground, takes ownership of safety programs, and helps foster a strong safety‑first culture across all levels of the organization. Growing company with long‑term stability Strong leadership support for safety initiatives Opportunity to make a visible, company‑wide impact Competitive benefits and generous paid time off Key Responsibilities Develop, implement, and enforce safety policies, procedures, and programs for manufacturing and construction environments Conduct regular jobsite and facility safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments Lead and coordinate toolbox talks, safety meetings, and training sessions Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents; complete reports and implement corrective and preventive actions Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, inspections, training logs, and compliance documentation Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors to ensure safe work plans and job hazard analyses are in place Monitor and manage PPE usage and overall jobsite safety compliance Stay current on OSHA regulations and industry best practices Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory inspections and safety‑related inquiries Actively participate in and support the Safety Committee Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of safety management experience within manufacturing and/or construction Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, construction safety standards, and environmental compliance requirements Relevant certifications such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional), CHST, OSHA 30, and/or OSHA 510 Proven ability to influence, coach, and engage employees at all levels Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills Ability to work independently and travel up to 25% Must possess a valid driver’s license Must be able to pass pre‑employment and random drug screens and a background check Working Conditions This position requires working in the manufacturing facility as well as visits to active construction sites. Lift up to 30 lbs. occasionally (safety equipment or materials). Travel between sites as needed. Exposure to machinery, loud noise, dust, weather conditions, and industrial materials. Must be able to wear required PPE and stand or walk for extended periods. Ability to walk, climb, stoop, and navigate a heavy manufacturing environment.
