Human Resources Manager - Metro-Detroit Area

As a Human Resources Manager at one of our Metro-Detroit Complex Sites, you will play a key role in our ability to deliver what we promise to our customers.You will drive all aspects that lead to a positive culture at the Complex, an engaged and capable workforce, and efficient operations by:· Collaborating with Site leadership to drive culture and organizational development initiatives across multiple Sites· Partnering with the Site managers to ensure operational excellence within the Complex, supporting the vision and goals of the organization· Coaching and supporting Site leadership on all HR processes and activities· Leading the Complex HR team in all HR processes and activities· Coaching and developing the Complex HR team, supporting their continued career growth· Developing relationships with the organizations and key figures within the community in which the Complex is located· Ensuring compliance with various local and federal regulations, as well as company and Complex policies, practices and agreementsKey experiences and know-how The following prior experiences will be required for someone to be successful in this role:· Working with multiple stakeholders with diverse objectives, to ensure the most effective business solutions are derived· Carrying out succession planning activities and workforce talent gap closure activities· Supporting and driving employee development and engagement initiatives within an organization · Interpreting and applying a collective bargaining agreement· Building strong relationships with key stakeholders of an organization· Execution of lean manufacturing processes around employee development and training, driving continuous improvement, to increase efficiency and productivity· Analyzing and using complex data to make decisions· Participation in collective bargaining processesBehaviors of a successful Human Resources Manager· Courage to make decisions, always keeping in mind the consequences of those decisions and their impact on the Complex as well as the company as a whole, and being supportive of this courage in others· Openness to the ideas of others and seeking out those with different capabilities and experiences in order to most effectively achieve an objective· Focus on change, continuous improvement and the future, being able to understand the vision of the overall company and the Complex, set a vision for HR within the Complex, and drive to the realization of that vision· Conscientiousness of the cost implications of the decisions made during the design, implementation and execution of HR activities and initiatives, ensuring maximum efficiency and a strong benefit-cost ratio· Internalize the needs of customers, as well as every employee within the Complex, and devotion to creating an environment that inspires those around themBasic QualificationsBachelor's degreeMinimum of 10 years of combined experience in human resources or a related field3 years of experience leading others in a manufacturing environmentAble to coach and develop teamsExceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficient with Microsoft OfficePreferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations or Law.Demonstrated experience with Workday HR systemsExperience supporting operations in dynamic environments, including new product launchesExperience applying lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologiesBrand: FCA GroupJob ID: 2019320Employment Type: Full-timeJob Area: Human Resource and TransformationPosted Date: 26/06/2026
