HR Assistant

Location: Nicholasville, KY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Pay: $20.00/hour to start
Employment Type: Full-Time

Position Overview

We are seeking a friendly, personable, and detail-oriented HR Assistant to join our team in Nicholasville. This position will support daily human resources and recruiting activities, with a strong focus on candidate screening, new hire processing, and onboarding.

The ideal candidate will have previous recruiting experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to provide a positive experience for candidates and new employees.

Responsibilities

• Review and screen candidates for open positions
• Conduct candidate interviews and assist with the recruiting process
• Coordinate and complete drug screens and background checks
• Complete and maintain new hire paperwork and documentation
• Assist with employee onboarding and orientation
• Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Maintain accurate employee and recruiting records
• Enter and update information in HR systems and spreadsheets
• Assist with general HR administrative duties as needed
• Provide friendly, professional customer service to candidates and employees

Qualifications

• Previous recruiting experience is required
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Friendly, professional, and personable demeanor
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities
• Dependable and team-oriented
