Principal Investigator For Home-Use StudyAt Lilu, we build technology to empower new moms. For years, we have been developing breastfeeding products, including the Lilu Massage Bra and the MilkSense lactation-tracking app, with input from pumping moms and research supported by the National Science Foundation. We are now working on new breastfeeding products designed to make pumping and postpartum care more comfortable and efficient.We are preparing a home-use research study of our new pumping technology with breastfeeding mothers in the United States. We are looking for a Principal Investigator to lead it. You'll work closely with our small product team and help shape how new breastfeeding technology is evaluated with real moms.The role:Serve as Principal Investigator for a remote home-use study under independent IRB reviewOversee participant safety, informed consent, and adverse event assessmentReview study data and safety reports with the study team on a regular basisAct as the study's primary contact with the IRBExpected commitment: part-time and fully remote, about 50 hours over 2 months (roughly 5 to 6 hours a week), starting in NovemberRequirements:Prior research experience in breastfeeding or maternal health, or extensive professional experience in science or engineering within the maternal or breastfeeding products industryExperience with human subjects research, or willingness to complete human subjects protection training before the study startsBased in the United StatesNo conflicts of interest with competing breast pump or maternal product companiesPreferred (a strong plus if you have one or more of these):Lactation expertise, such as IBCLC or CLC certification, or other professional experience as a lactation specialistHuman subjects research experience in breast health or lactationClinical credentials (for example MD, NP or RN)Familiarity with IRB processes and Good Clinical PracticeTo apply, send your CV and a short note about your relevant experience to View email address on click.appcast.io
