The LAB is looking for a passionate and energetic Toddler Coach to join our growing LAB Littles program. This is an opportunity for a preschool teacher or early childhood educator to take the skills they already have and bring them into a completely different environment one built around movement, play, creativity, and exploration.

Our program combines obstacle play, climbing, jumping, sensory activities, music, imagination, and structured learning to help children ages 2–5 build confidence, coordination, independence, communication skills, and a lifelong love of being active.

As a Toddler Coach, you'll work alongside our lead coach to create engaging experiences for children while helping shape and grow a unique early childhood program.

What You'll Do

• Lead and assist engaging classes for children ages 2–5.
• Create fun, energetic learning experiences through movement, play, music, and imagination.
• Follow and contribute to curriculum, lesson plans, and seasonal themes.
• Help children develop confidence, coordination, communication, and independence.
• Adapt activities to meet the needs of different ages, personalities, and developmental stages.
• Build strong, positive relationships with children and their families.
• Work closely with the lead coach to ensure classes are organized, engaging, and running smoothly.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.
• Help set up and reset equipment and activities.
• Communicate with the coaching team about children's needs and class experiences.
• Participate in camps, birthday parties, community events, and other LAB programming as needed.

We're Looking For Someone Who

• Has a genuine passion for working with young children.
• Has experience as a preschool teacher, childcare provider, educator, coach, or similar role.
• Is energetic, creative, patient, and nurturing.
• Loves getting on the floor and playing, moving, and engaging with kids.
• Can create structure while still allowing children to explore and have fun.
• Communicates confidently with both children and parents.
• Works well as part of a team and is excited to learn and grow.
• Is dependable, positive, and brings great energy into the gym every day.

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience working with children ages 2–5.
• Preschool, daycare, childcare, education, gymnastics, recreation, or coaching experience.
• Early Childhood Education or Child Development coursework is a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Most importantly, we're looking for someone who loves kids and wants to do something different with their experience.

Schedule

• Part-time or full-time opportunities based on program needs.
• Weekday mornings and afternoons, with occasional weekends.
• Consistent weekly availability preferred.
• Schedule may vary based on programming and business needs.

Physical Requirements

• Actively participate in movement-based activities with young children.
• Stand, walk, kneel, bend, and sit on the floor throughout the day.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate movement activities.
• Lift and move equipment up to 25 pounds.
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
