Residential House Painter

*Responsibilities*

What you'll be doing:

* Preparing surfaces for paint or stain by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling imperfections, etc.
* Preparing unpainted surfaces by taping, masking, etc.
* Applying paint, stain, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
* Restoring and maintaining previously coated surfaces.
* Removing/installing fixtures and performing minor repairs related to painting tasks.
* Utilizing hand tools effectively to complete projects efficiently.
* Following safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment throughout the project.
* Collaborating with clients and team members to ensure satisfaction with completed work.

*Qualifications*

Previous residential painting experience is *not* required. We value on-the-job training and expect to work closely with each employee to achieve our desired standards. We encourage you to apply if you meet any or all of the following qualifications:

* Strong attention to detail with an eye for aesthetics and the patience to produce quality workmanship.
* Motivated to constantly improve and prideful in a job well done.
* Proficiency in using hand tools and/or painting equipment.
* Experience working with your hands or in any trade, especially finish work (tile, flooring, millwork, etc.).
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various environments.
* Comfortability with heights, ladders, etc.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 24 per week
