Area Operations Manager - Remanufacturing (Newburg, NY)

About the Role An Area Operations Manager – Reman oversees the daily operations of multiple wheel remanufacturing shop locations within a designated area. The role ensures operational excellence, team development, customer satisfaction, and adherence to safety and quality standards. In addition, the manager plays a key role in business development, identifying and securing new customer opportunities to support Dent Wizard’s growth strategy. Key Responsibilities Operational Excellence : Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety across all locations. Address and resolve operational issues promptly, maintain high standards of cleanliness and environmental health and safety (EHS) at all sites. Customer Service & Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensure service delivery meets or exceeds expectations, represent Dent Wizard in customer meetings, promote a five‑star customer service culture. Business Development : Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned area, develop and present proposals, collaborate with marketing, expand footprint through dealerships and collision centers. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning : Drive recruitment and hiring efforts for area roles in collaboration with HR, identify staffing needs, support onboarding and integration. Leadership & Team Development : Foster a positive, inclusive work environment, coach and develop team members, facilitate training and performance evaluations. Performance Monitoring & Reporting : Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction, implement continuous improvement initiatives. Administration : Coordinate supplies and parts ordering, troubleshoot critical operational issues, maintain clean and organized work areas, support invoicing processes, adhere to policies and ethics. Other Duties Perform additional tasks as assigned by management. Compensation and Benefits Starting compensation: $95,000.00 – $107,000.00 per year, based on qualifications, experience, and geographic location. Benefits package includes paid time off, medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match (50% on the dollar up to 7% of employee contribution).
