HADOOP Developer

Consultant (Hadoop Developer) needed for Orabase Solutions LLC located in McKinney, TX. Responsibilities Software architecture and design for clients throughout the U.S. Use Hadoop, Spark ecosystem and perform data warehousing to load data into tables that will be formatted. Provide production support to multiple applications that present data. Engage in shell scripting to run Oozie jobs. Create production requests to make changes to existing systems. Work on Jira tickets and incidents to make changes to existing systems and for upcoming deployments. Clean up high memory usage tables and manage incidents generated through the At Your Service portal. Schedule applications in ESP CA workload automation and monitoring systems. Move data from Teradata to Hadoop servers and complete a distcp to move the data to another VMG cluster through Yahoo-Hadoop clusters. Monitor applications that are running and analyze failed Hadoop and Oozie jobs in the Omega Yarn and Oozie Yarn applications and fix issues based upon these failures. Perform ETL and troubleshoot pipelines that use Oracle, Teradata, and Informatica. Qualifications Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering. No experience required.
