Warehouse Technician
We are excited to share a new opportunity! We are searching for a Warehouse Technician in Freeport, Texas. PrideStaff, a nationally recognized staffing company, has been given an opportunity to assist a bona fide top employer in this market!
Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $18+/hr DOE
Location: Freeport, TX
Experience: 6+ months
Warehouse Technician Responsibilities:
- Validate correct part information is entered into the system for sourcing
- Work with the inventory and receiving departments to assign parts
- Coordinate with assembly to release jobs to be built
- Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed
- Sort and place materials and items in warehouse using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Responsible for shipping, receiving, and electronic record keeping in the company system of all amounts of materials or items both received and distributed
Warehouse Technician Requirements:
- Able to wear necessary, job-related PPE
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to read and interpret assembly manuals (IOM's)
- Able to walk and stand 8 hours per day
- Frequent climbing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, and grasping
- Must be able to distinguish emergency and other alarms and respond according to prescribed procedures
- Oracle Experience preferred
