About the Position

Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room RN – New Hampshire

Start Date: January 12, 2026
Location: Portsmouth, New Hampshire
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Four 9-hour shifts per week, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM, plus call coverage and occasional late stays; call requirement approximately one weekend per month and 2-3 days per week

• Cardiovascular operating room with 3 dedicated OR suites specializing in open heart, vascular, and thoracic procedures
• Comprehensive case mix including CABG, valve replacements, TAVR, EVAR, TEVAR, carotid endarterectomy, VATS, thoracotomy, and Level 2 trauma coverage for vascular and thoracic cases
• Collaborative staffing model with 3-member teams per OR and dedicated call teams
• Meditech EMR system with supportive orientation and training
• Stable, experienced team with long-tenured staff members in a close-knit environment
• Coastal New England location with easy access to Boston and the White Mountains

Requirements:

• Active RN license in hand at time of application
• Cardiac, vascular, and thoracic operating room experience required
• Ability to respond within 30 minutes for call-back
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to participate in call rotation
• Preferred: Ability to scrub cardiac and vascular cases
• Preferred: Experience with Meditech EMR
