Step into a meaningful position providing expert physical therapy support to students in an educational setting. This full-time contract opportunity is available immediately and continues through the end of the school year, located near Bronx, NY. Your work will make a direct impact on student development by supporting two school sites during the hours of 8:00 AM to 3:35 PM. This is an onsite role—remote or PTA applicants will not be considered.
Key Qualifications:
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in New York
- Experience supporting pediatric or school-aged populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to work exclusively onsite; remote work is not available
- Reliable transportation to travel between two area school sites
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough evaluations and develop personalized treatment plans for students
- Provide direct therapy sessions to address mobility, motor skills, and other physical needs
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to ensure each student's therapy plan complements their educational goals
- Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
- Engage in team meetings and professional development as required
