Our client is seeking a strong candidate for their Accounts Payable/Receivable Accounting position. This role serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed for the purchasing and payments of our services.

Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm, Pay $16-$18 DOE.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Approving Accounts Payable invoices
  • Prepare Accounts Receivable invoices
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Account Reconciliations

Qualifications:

A successful Accounts Payable employee will embrace thoroughness when reviewing invoices. They MUST have the technical capacity to efficiently operate a computer and familiarity with payables systems. An understanding of financial management and book keeper level of experience. Degree not required, but relevant verifiable experience is a must.

The job site is located on the west side of Houma.
