RN House SupervisorUnder the direction of the Director of Nursing, oversees the operation of the nursing units. Provides clinical supervision to employees assigned to the various nursing units. Plans, directs, coordinates, and evaluates the Nursing Department's activities. Ensures consistency with established policies, procedures, standards, and regulations. Assures quality resident care through teaching and supervision of staff on respective shifts. Communicates with the Director of Nursing regarding identified and potential unit problems. Collaborates with the Director of Nursing to resolve problems. Contacts the Director of Nursing for only critical issues requiring resolution.
