Inventory Control Specialist II Location: South Bay / Los Angeles Area, CA Schedule: Day Shift Pay Range: $24.00 $26.00/hour Industry: Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing Company Temp to Hire Position Overview The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting material movement throughout the facility, and ensuring inventory integrity within a manufacturing environment. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively across multiple departments. Key Responsibilities Maintain accurate inventory records and stock counts Receive, unpack, label, and restock incoming materials Process inventory transfers and return-to-stock transactions Perform cycle counts and inventory reconciliations Investigate inventory discrepancies and assist with corrective actions Support material movement between receiving, inspection, stockroom, production, and shipping Update inventory data within ERP systems Prepare kits and materials for production using pick lists and routers Generate inventory-related reports and documentation Maintain organized and safe inventory storage areas Follow company safety, environmental, and quality procedures Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 35 years of inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment 1+ years of Aerospace experience Forklift Certified- required Experience with ERP systems preferred (SAP experience is a plus) Strong Microsoft Office and data entry skills Ability to perform inventory analysis and reconciliation Forklift experience - Required Ability to lift up to 35 lbs.
