About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead its mission-driven, community-focused, and forward-thinking organization. The CEO will be responsible for strategic, operational, and cultural leadership, representing the organization both internally and externally. This pivotal role involves translating Board priorities into actionable initiatives, overseeing all clinics and programs, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements while advancing the mission of health equity and social justice. The successful candidate will work closely with senior leaders to strengthen organizational culture, elevate performance, expand services, and improve outcomes for the communities served. The ideal CEO for the company will have a strong background in healthcare delivery, policy, and finance, particularly within the FQHC landscape. They should possess emotional intelligence, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep commitment to the values of the organization. Key responsibilities include guiding the organization through a period of significant growth and transformation, building relationships, communicating effectively, and driving operational excellence. Candidates for this role should hold a bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred) and have a proven track record in nonprofit management, fundraising, grant stewardship, Board collaboration, operational improvement, and partnership development. A strong understanding of safety-net healthcare trends, clinical quality, and patient experience is essential.
