Safety and Occupational Health Manager

Duties
Help
- Inspects subordinate units and facilities to ensure compliance with safety and occupational health regulations and identifies corrective actions to mitigate hazards.
- Evaluates safety program effectiveness through surveys and audits, reporting deficiencies and recommending improvements.
- Develops and applies risk management strategies for explosives and hazardous materials to ensure safe operations and support mission objectives.
- Develops and implements safety policies and procedures to protect personnel and support mission requirements.
- Oversees the Brigade's Safety and Occupational Health Program, ensuring adherence to Army and federal safety standards.
- Leads accident investigations, analyzes causes, and provides recommendations to prevent recurrence and improve safety.
