Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to oncology patients, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through skilled clinical interventions and compassionate support. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infusion and medical treatments.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans to develop individualized care strategies.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications, and other oncological treatments following safety protocols.
• Monitor patients for adverse reactions, side effects, and complications, documenting findings thoroughly.
• Educate patients and family members on treatment procedures, side effects, and post-care instructions.
• Coordinate with physicians and specialists to adjust care plans based on patient responses.

Qualifications:

• Valid and unexpired driver's license required for site visits or patient transportation.
• Current RN licensure with active registration in the state of practice.
• Proven experience in MedSurg and Oncology nursing preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment skills and knowledge of oncology protocols.
• Ability to adhere to safety and infection control standards.
