Job Responsibilities

• Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and design personalized therapy strategies to help them meet their functional aspirations.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor abilities, cognitive skills, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work in concert with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing professionals to provide holistic, comprehensive care.
• Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and caregivers in understanding therapy techniques to foster progress in home environments.
• Track and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment plans accordingly, ensuring patients remain on their path to recovery.

Education Requirements

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
• Continuing education or postgraduate certifications are encouraged and supported

Licensing and Certification

• Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification required
