Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description

Join our team as a forklift operator where you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and efficiency of our production floor. You will be responsible for material handling, performing inspections, and working with various sizes and shapes of corrugated drainage products. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other machinery as needed.

• Handle materials and parts for production processes.

• Perform quality inspections on pipes and products.

• Ensure product quality meets company standards.

• Read and interpret measurements using a tape measure.

• Perform heavy lifting of up to 70 lbs.

• Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive work environment.

Essential Skills

• Ability to stand for 10-12 hours a day.

• Experience in manufacturing or production environments.

• Physical ability to bend, push, pull, and perform labor-intensive tasks.

• Comfort with heavy lifting and handling of materials.

• Proficiency in reading tape measures.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience with hand tools and power tools.

• Understanding of machine operation and setup.

• Capability to conduct visual inspections.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of MUNCY, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
