About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: NICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00-19:00 Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2+ years in Level 2 nursery or higher NICU experience License: Active RN license Certifications: NRP, STABLE, BLS Must-Have Skills/Experience: Level 2 Special Care Nursery or higher NICU experience is required. Ability to attend all deliveries and initiate and run NRP resuscitation. Description: This position involves providing care in a Level 2 Special Care Nursery. The nursery consists of 8 beds with patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3. The typical patient population includes neonates, full-term, early-term, and pre-term infants. Common diagnosis and treatment include NAS/NOWS, TTN, IV antibiotics, Bubble CPAP, and OG/NG feeds. The equipment used includes EHR systems like Meditech and GE Centricity. The position entails working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team in a state-of-the-art facility. Candidates should be prepared for a dynamic environment focusing on the health and well-being of vulnerable patients. Dress code consists of royal blue scrubs or hospital-issued scrubs. Unacceptable attire includes hoodies and sweatshirts.
