Mechanical Assembler - 2nd Shift

202 W Enterprise Road, Winneconne, WI 54986 Position Description The Mechanical Assembler- 2nd Shift is responsible for assembling and installing mechanical components used in custom electrical equipment. This role works from drawings, bills of material (BOMs), and work instructions to ensure equipment is assembled safely, accurately, and to SPS quality standards. Hours: 4:00pm-2:30am, Monday- Thursday Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assemble and install mechanical components according to drawings and work instructions. Verify parts and components against BOMs for accuracy. Measure, layout, drill, fasten, and install components using hand and power tools. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and other visual aids. Identify and report material, design, or quality issues. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Support continuous improvement and other production needs assigned. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn. Ability to safely use hand and power tools. Basic math and measurement skills. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality. Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team. Ability to work occasional overtime as needed. Preferred Previous manufacturing, assembly, or mechanical experience. Experience reading drawings, blueprints, or work instructions. Experience using measuring tools and performing mechanical layouts.
