This position specifically supports an intermediate school building, working with grades 3–5. With a consult-focused caseload, you will help fine-tune fine motor and sensory skills for about 25 students, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference through both direct and collaborative services. The role offers flexibility: either two full days per week, or more part-days, according to what works best for your schedule.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid OT license and credentials for Illinois
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
- Strong skills in providing consultative OT support and direct interventions
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver fine motor and sensory support services to elementary students
- Consult regularly with teachers and staff to support student needs
- Maintain thorough documentation and communicate progress effectively
- Develop creative strategies to maximize participation and growth
