We’re working with a well-established small animal veterinary hospital in Cromwell, Connecticut that is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join a collaborative and experienced clinical team. Schedule
- Full-time position
- Flexible weekday scheduling
- Rotating Saturday coverage (8:00am–1:00pm)
- Opportunity to focus on surgery and dentistry within weekly caseload
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care for small animal patients
- Perform or support surgical and dental procedures
- Deliver preventive, diagnostic, and treatment services
- Collaborate with experienced veterinary and technical teams
- Maintain high standards of Fear-Free and evidence-based care
- Engage in client education and long-term patient relationships
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate is:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) eligible for Connecticut licensure
- Interested in small animal general practice
- Passionate about surgery and/or dentistry (strongly preferred)
- Collaborative and team-oriented
- Committed to high-quality, compassionate veterinary care
- Open to mentorship and continuous professional development
