Molecular Sales Account Executive (Philadelphia)

Abbott seeks a Molecular Sales Account Executive to drive revenue growth across the Washington-Baltimore-Philadelphia territory by closing new business and expanding existing accounts with healthcare facilities. This remote role involves managing complex sales cycles, building stakeholder relationships, and delivering diagnostic solutions to hospitals, labs, and clinics.
Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to drive market share growth in territory
- Engage multiple stakeholders including C-suite executives to close complex capital sales deals
- Build long-term customer partnerships by understanding needs and delivering customized solutions
- Manage renewal processes and capital sales cycles with cross-functional team collaboration
- Develop best practices and contingency plans to exceed business expectations and prevent sales shortfalls
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- 4+ years of sales experience with proven track record exceeding targets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM systems
- Valid driver's license; ability to travel up to 80%
- Strategic sales skills with innovation and change management capabilities
- Strong business planning and attention to detail
Compensation: $78,000–$156,000 base
