Function:
WCS Healthcare is seeking a full-time Admissions Registered Nurse (RN) for an outstanding skilled nursing facility located in Westchester County. The Admissions RN plays a vital role in overseeing new resident admissions, managing the intake process, and ensuring a smooth transition into the community. The Admissions RN will conduct clinical assessments, provide direct nursing care, and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional, resident-centered care.

Admissions Registered Nurse (RN)Location: The Osborn – Rye, NY (Main Campus)Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM - EOWHourly Rate: $50.00 to $55.00/hour max
Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee all aspects of new resident admissions and intake- full body check, wound care
Conduct thorough nursing assessments and initiate individualized care plans.Provide direct nursing care as needed, ensuring resident safety and comfort.Supervise and delegate tasks to Nursing Assistants in accordance with facility standards.Accurately document assessments, care plans, and progress notes.Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.Monitor resident conditions and promptly report changes to appropriate clinical staff.Ensure compliance with infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory standards.Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident health and well being.Uphold professionalism and embody the mission, vision, and values of The Osborn.Submission RequirementsActive NY State RN license and current CPR certification required.Prior experience in admissions, long-term care (LTC), or skilled nursing preferred.Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and organizational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively within a team.Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements for long-term care facilities.Benefits & Experience RequirementsExperience: Long-term care (LTC) preferred; qualified candidates without LTC may be considered.Skills: Wound care required.Clinical & Certification RequirementsRNs: IV administration required.Certifications: Please confirm whether BLS and ACLS are required for RNs only or for both RNs and LPNs.Training & OrientationCombined LPN RN orientation, lasting 1–2 weeks, overseen by the DON.Includes shadowing, paperwork/documentation training, and workflow integration.Preferred start date: Tuesdays (flexible depending on role).
EMR: PCCInterview & Submission ProcessIn-person interviews strongly preferred; virtual interviews available.Step 1: Initial interview with Program Manager.Step 2: Second-round interview if needed, or candidate may proceed directly to offer.RNs are encouraged to observe the campus environment during the interview visit.
