Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 is responsible for the day-to-day troubleshooting and preventative/predictive maintenance of (specific equipment on your site). Acts as a material handling technician for all equipment that is installed at Visalia, CA. This role will be 3rd shift, Saturday through Wednesday - 9:30 PM -6 AM. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills.Tasks and Qualifications:What You Will Do In This RoleRepair and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belt tracking, component adjustment/replacement, and lubrication.Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.Use electrical test equipment to troubleshoot electrical circuitry.Create and close work orders into an asset management system with appropriate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.Troubleshoot semi-complex problems and understand the resources needed to resolve them.Locate and track spare parts from inventory.Performs routine maintenance and equipment testing to ensure they meet specifications.Respond to service calls and correct equipment failures and faults.Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to solve them.Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization.What We Are Looking ForA High School diploma or equivalent is required. Typically, an associate degree or vocational-technical training is preferred. Specialized skill training/certification is also preferred.2-3 years of troubleshooting electro-mechanical equipment preferred.Proven experience in responsibility and successful demonstration of position and key responsibilities as presented above.Able to lift and move material up to 50 pounds each.Regular bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching both below the waist and above the head.Occasionally, push-and-pull wheeled dollies are loaded with products up to 100 pounds.Able to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.Working conditions may include small spaces, dust, fumes/odors, hot/cold temperatures, inside/outside noise, vibration, standing on concrete for long hours, and wet or uneven surfaces.Must be able to stand/walk for up to 10–12 hours.Flexibility in covering multiple shifts and holiday hours as required.
