Work Environment

The position is onsite at our well-equipped rehabilitation center, providing a dynamic environment that promotes teamwork and innovative treatment methods. You will collaborate with a small, close-knit team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA), fostering an atmosphere of support and shared learning. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to establish individualized treatment goals based on their unique needs and aspirations.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring that each individual receives comprehensive attention and care tailored to their conditions.
• Develop and implement effective evidence-based treatment plans that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, patient education, and modalities to improve mobility and functionality.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes and address any new challenges.
• Educate patients on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and lifestyle modifications to foster their independence and ongoing health post-therapy.
• Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and to facilitate seamless communication with other healthcare providers.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to refine treatment approaches and share insights that enhance patient care.
• Inspire patients by motivating them throughout their rehabilitation process, helping them achieve milestones that elevate their physical capabilities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on athletes and active individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries. We serve a diverse clientele, including those with private medical insurance, which allows us to offer tailored rehabilitation services that meet the specific needs of each patient. Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited PT program approved by the Council on Medical Education.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey, verified by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• At least one year of practical experience in an orthopedic outpatient environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience utilizing advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques specific to sports rehabilitation.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation protocols.
• Experience working as part of an interdisciplinary team with a focus on holistic patient care.

Compensation and Benefits
