Our clinic features a state-of-the-art, 5,000 square foot sports medicine environment, equipped with the latest technology and resources to support our therapeutic practices. We primarily serve patients covered by private insurance, ensuring accessible and personalized care that promotes optimal recovery and well-being.

Work Environment

This position is fully onsite, embodying a collaborative culture where you will work with a supportive team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). The dynamic environment prioritizes teamwork, continuous learning, and a shared commitment to improving patient outcomes. Our clinic operates Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm, providing a balanced work-life schedule for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patients' goals and rehabilitation needs, developing tailored treatment plans accordingly.
• Manage a patient load of one patient per hour, ensuring the delivery of focused, high-quality care.
• Utilize your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care to offer cost-effective treatments aimed at enhancing patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Implement various therapeutic techniques, closely monitoring and adjusting treatment protocols based on patient response and progress.
• Promote independence among patients through education about non-surgical alternatives to pain management and rehabilitation.
• Design personalized fitness and wellness programs, emphasizing the improvement of strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, ensuring consistent engagement and commitment to their health goals.
• Document patient progress accurately, adhering to best practices for record-keeping and compliance throughout treatment.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care and successful outcomes.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and maintain open communication with patients and their families regarding progress and goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily treats individuals with orthopedic conditions, such as post-surgery rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, demonstrating a strong foundational knowledge of physical rehabilitation principles.
• An active Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, free of any disciplinary actions or board measures.
• Exceptional skills in manual therapy techniques and a demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

• At least 2 years of experience in a similar orthopedic outpatient setting, showcasing a proven track record of successful patient outcomes.
• Experience in developing individualized care plans based on sound clinical judgments and patient needs.
• A background in utilizing evidence-based practices to inform treatment choices and frameworks.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
