Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, which involve reviewing medical histories and performing specific physical assessments to develop tailored treatment plans.
• Communicate evaluation findings and future treatment strategies clearly to patients and their families, ensuring they are involved in goal-setting.
• Implement treatment protocols effectively, adapting to each patient's unique presentation and needs, while remaining informed about the evolving healthcare landscape.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and necessary adjustments to care plans, documenting all changes accurately.
• Manage discharge planning and follow-up care, ensuring all documentation—including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries—meets regulatory standards.
• Maintain productivity metrics and time management, keeping an accurate schedule and being punctual for appointments and meetings.
• Engage in community outreach and marketing efforts to promote our services and improve patient access to care.
• Participate in the development of departmental objectives, adhering to compliance regulations and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Actively pursue continuing education opportunities to enhance personal and professional skills, while mentoring physical therapy students as a clinical instructor.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice primarily serves a diverse population seeking orthopedic rehabilitation. You will work with patients recovering from surgery, injuries, and chronic conditions, tailoring interventions to meet their unique needs and enhancing their overall physical function and quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate in Physical Therapy is preferred.
• Active state license for Physical Therapy in New Jersey, as required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by the American Heart Association is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

While prior work experience is not required, candidates with backgrounds in orthopedic physical therapy, sports rehabilitation, or manual therapy will be well-suited for this position and may have an edge in the selection process.

Compensation and Benefits
