Scope of Work The Foreman will ensure and accept responsibility for shop space and equipment efficiency, while coordinating the workload of shop and field mechanics in conformance with sales and customer orders for the Construction Machinery Division. Job Responsibilities Assign service jobs and work areas to employees Prepare warranty claim repair orders for construction machinery Analyze status of work in progress and keep service manager informed Prepare estimates on shop overhauls Interview and hire personnel as needed Issue required manuals and service bulletins to shop and field mechanics Oversee housekeeping, frequency of safety meetings Promote good welfare among the company and its division Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications Must have 5 years previous experience GED or High School Diploma Trade school or special training preferred Requirements Must have a working knowledge of the above position and how it relates to the overall business and its objectives Must have a current driver’s license and acceptable driving record per WPI insurance company standards. Must be able to pass and maintain drug and alcohol testing requirements as outlined by the Department of Transportation Must be computer literate and proficient in a Windows environment (MS Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook) Must meet goals and objectives set forth by the company Must conform to policies and procedures set forth by the company Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
