This individual shall detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving. This position may have additional duties assigned that are within scope of the role.**Education / Experience**:Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a chemical, biological, or clinical/medical laboratory science required. Clinical laboratory training culminating in national certification as defined by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry.**License / Certification**:Active ASCP Medical Technologist (MT), ASCP Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), ASCP Microbiology, or equivalent certification required**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:* Excellent knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with relevant computer software.* Strong team leadership skills, strong organization, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.* Must be able to meet strict deadlines.* Strong analytical and problem-solving ability, and excellent organizational skills.* Must be able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously.* Ability to develop trust with leaders in the organizations.* Strong written and oral communication skills, proficient computer skills, proven track record of successful performance.* Ability to understand complex multifactor situations and bring appropriate solutions.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.**Primary Location:**Baptist Medical Center East**Job:**Medical Laboratory ScientistMedical Laboratory Scientist**Job Type:**Regular-Full time**Shift**:7 on / 7 off - Third Shift (United States of America) #J-18808-Ljbffr
