Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.18 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed, Sun: 02:00 PM – 10:00 PM; Sat: 06:00 AM – 02:00 PM What You’ll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a healthcare location. Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor access to help support authorized entry and security-related protocols. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency services when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, unsecured access points, and other conditions that may require security-related attention. Prepare accurate reports of daily activities, access control events, and incident responses, and communicate relevant information during shift handoff and/or with site leadership. Minimum Requirements Access control and badge experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
