Job Summary This role is responsible for optimizing the critical assignment process within a complex Product Life Cycle Management system, directly impacting early supply chain assessments and cost identification. You will refine the logic for assigning commodity managers to change orders, contributing to smoother processing and improved system performance. The position also involves developing data for future automation initiatives. Route affected items to appropriate commodity managers for impact assessment. Analyze and enhance the assignment algorithm for improved efficiency. Compile data sets to train future automated assignment tools. Monitor and report on strategic sourcing team performance. Must-Have Skills Hands‑on PLM system experience. Understanding of engineering change management. Experience with data analysis and process improvement. Industry Experience This role requires experience in supply chain operations or system-focused roles within a manufacturing or engineering environment, with a preference for understanding of electro‑mechanical components.
