iTrust Wellness Group is an outpatient psychiatry practice serving patients across South Carolina. Our team is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality mental health care. We're looking for an experienced HR professional to serve as the dedicated human resources lead for our practice.

About the Role
The People Operations Administrator is the practice's primary point of contact for all people-related matters. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with no direct reports, ideal for a well-rounded HR professional who enjoys owning the full HR function and working closely with practice leadership. You'll report to the CEO and play a key role in helping us attract, support, and retain a strong clinical and administrative team.

Schedule
Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
Friday, 7:30 AM–12:00 PM

Location
This role is based on-site at our Greenville, SC office and requires occasional travel to our satellite clinical locations for onboarding, employee meetings, and on-site support.

What You'll Do
Payroll

• Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on time through Rippling, including time and attendance review, deductions, and adjustments.
• Maintain payroll records and partner with our accountant on tax filings, year-end reporting, and audits.

Benefits Administration

• Administer health, dental, vision, life, disability, and retirement plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
• Lead annual open enrollment and serve as liaison with our benefits broker and carriers.
• Manage leave administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, and COBRA, and support ACA reporting.

Recruiting and Onboarding

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for clinical and administrative roles, including psychiatrists, nurse practitioners, therapists, and front-office staff.
• Write job postings, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and extend offers.
• Conduct background checks, verify professional licenses, and coordinate with our credentialing team on new clinicians.
• Run a consistent, welcoming onboarding process that sets new hires up for success.

Employee Relations

• Serve as a trusted, confidential resource for employees and managers.
• Investigate and resolve workplace concerns fairly and promptly.
• Advise leadership on performance management, corrective action, and separations.

Compliance and Policy

• Maintain the employee handbook and HR policies, keeping them current with federal and South Carolina employment law.
• Ensure compliance with required postings, I-9s, EEO, OSHA, and HIPAA workforce training requirements.
• Maintain accurate, secure personnel files and HR records.

Culture and Engagement

• Support performance review cycles, recognition programs, and staff engagement initiatives.
• Help foster a supportive workplace culture that recognizes the demands of behavioral health work.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of progressive HR experience, including hands-on payroll and benefits administration.
• Experience as an HR generalist or sole HR professional in a small to mid-sized organization.
• Working knowledge of federal and South Carolina employment law, including FLSA, FMLA, ADA, and COBRA.
• Excellent judgment, discretion, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive matters with care.
• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple priorities independently.
• Proficiency with payroll/HRIS systems (experience with Rippling is a plus) and Microsoft Office.

Preferred

• PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar certification.
• Experience in healthcare, ideally behavioral health or private practice.
• Experience recruiting licensed clinical professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $70,000–$85,000, depending on experience
