Work Schedule: Monday- Friday, 8 AM - 5PM

Location: 30281 Golden Lantern, Laguna Niguel, Ca 92677

Primary Responsibilities:

• Follows open and closing procedures according to office policies and procedures
• Greets and checks in patients in a polite, prompt and helpful manner
• Have patients complete and sign any appropriate forms. Reviews all completed forms for accuracy and updates, including insurance information
• Collects all copayments, deductibles and outstanding balances according to Policies and Procedures
• Answers phones, transfers calls and communicate messages from patients to physicians, medical assistants and office staff when appropriate
• Schedules appointments and verify insurance eligibility according to standard work
• Checks out patients, schedule follow up appointment's and provide patient with appointment related documents
• Respond appropriately and timely to patient concerns and/or need
• Ensures their work is being performed according to company policies, procedures and standards
• Ensures all OSHA, HIPAA and other regulations are followed
• Regular attendance at work and staff meetings

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED
• 1+ years of medical practice office experience
• Basic level of experience with MS Office

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology
• EMR experience
• Bilingual (English/ Spanish)

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $18 - $32 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
