They offer a wide range of plumbing, HVAC, roofing, electrical, and related building products, with a strong focus on quality and customer service.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Accounts Receivable Specialist Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 29.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Sunday through Thursday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)Manage daily accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and payment applications.Research and resolve billing discrepancies, account issues, and customer disputes.Prepare and maintain billing for direct shipments, freight, and non-stock credits.Reconcile cashbox activity and assist with journal entries and account tie-outs.Communicate with customers and internal Sales teams regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and support accounting and A/R functions.Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications:4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role.Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliation.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis.Experience with billing, invoicing, payment application, account research, and resolving discrepancies.Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.Sales/use tax, payroll tax, or other business tax experience preferred; high school diploma required, accounting education preferred.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen (Excluding THC) is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
