Position Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to deliver therapeutic services that help residents recover, improve mobility, and maintain functional independence. Key Responsibilities Provide direct patient therapy treatments as outlined in care plans. Assist residents with exercises, mobility training, and rehabilitation activities. Monitor and report patient progress to the Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation. Ensure a safe and supportive therapy environment. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program. Active, unencumbered PTA license in South Carolina. Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
