Pay: $36 per hourLocation: Lafayette, LAJob description:Position Type: PRN / As-Needed / Respiratory Therapist / Day/Night ShiftVital Medical Staffing is looking for dependable, skilled Respiratory Therapists to join our PRN team. This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys flexible scheduling, works well with others, and understands how important it is to show up when patients and facilities need support the most.We work with hospitals, long-term care facilities, behavioral health settings, and clinics. Many of our RT assignments are PRN and last-minute coverage needs, so reliability and communication are very important. If you're someone who takes pride in patient care and can adapt to different environments, this could be a great fit for you.As a PRN Respiratory Therapist, you'll be providing respiratory assessments and treatments to patients while following each facility's policies and procedures. Your responsibilities may include administering oxygen therapy and breathing treatments, monitoring patient respiratory status, responding to emergencies, and maintaining accurate documentation of care provided.You'll be expected to communicate clearly with facility staff and our staffing team, arrive on time for scheduled shifts, and be ready to step in where help is needed. Our facilities rely on us to send Respiratory Therapists who are dependable, respectful, and clinically sound.What you'll need to qualify:Completion of an approved respiratory care programActive Louisiana Respiratory Therapist LicenseCurrent BLS certification (in person with an instructor) Current ACLS certificationValid TB Test Minimum of one year experienceAbility to read and communicate effectively in EnglishReliable transportationStrong communication skillsAbility to work PRN and accept last-minute shiftsWhy work with Vital Medical Staffing:We offer flexible PRN scheduling so you can pick up shifts that fit your life.
