We are seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Finance Manager (temporary to hire) to join our team. Responsibilities: As an IT Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes within the IT department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
• Utilizing your utility industry experience to guide financial decisions and strategies. FERC compliance
• Leading capital forecasting and planning efforts, making sure all initiatives are financially viable and align with our strategic goals.
• Developing and managing the IT department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
• Providing accurate and timely forecasting reports, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
• Streamlining and enhancing IT financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
• Presenting financial findings and recommendations to senior management, providing them with a clear understanding of the IT department's financial position.

Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
• Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), capital forecasting, and capital planning.
• Solid understanding and experience in the utility industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Proficiency in IT financial processes.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently.
• An MBA or PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
