Senior Accountant

Job Description Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join a growing company in Kansas City. The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing key accounting functions and preparing financial reports. Duties Handle general ledger accounting, including account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness. Prepare financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections. Perform month-end and year-end closing procedures with precision and adherence to deadlines. Ensure timely payment of all company bills, maintaining accurate records and tracking due dates. Provide support in preparing and filing taxes, ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and deadlines. Work closely with ownership to effectively close the financial books at the end of each period Experience 5+ years of experience, Real Estate industry experienced preferred Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
