Ultrasound Technologist

The registered Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of ultrasound principles. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative to apply non-ionizing, high frequency ultrasonic waves to patients for ultrasound diagnosis. Required Qualifications: * Coursework/Training: Completion of education program that meets ARDMS prerequisite requirements for RDMS examination.

• Upon hire: National Registered Technologist - Sonography or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic

Medical Sonography. * Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association. Preferred Qualifications: * Experience in assisting with the following OB procedures: chorionic villus sampling (CVS), Percutaneous Umbilical Blood Sampling (PUBS), and amniocentesis. * Experience with electronic medical databases, like Epic. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.
