Location: Ionia, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $17.25 per hour
Job Summary
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented individual looking for a new opportunity? We’re seeking a Machine Operator to join our team in Ionia, MI. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our operations, running machines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to produce metal stamping and complex welding assemblies for the automotive industry. No prior experience is required, and this position offers a steady work environment with opportunities for growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Machine Operator, your core responsibilities will include:
Positioning parts: Setting up parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled.
Operating machines: Starting and monitoring machine controls to ensure smooth production.
Quality inspection: Visually examining welds for adherence to specifications.
Rework: Correcting defective welds using hand welding equipment when needed.
In addition, you will also be expected to maintain a clean and safe work area and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
