Paint Specialist

Full Time Paint SpecialistCome join our team! Kellogg Paint Solutions is hiring a Full Time Paint Specialist to work between both our Kitty Hawk and Duck locations.Primary Responsibility:Point of customer contact for paint sales and customer paint needs.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Color match and mix paintProvide quotes and professional and courteous sales support to customersWork closely with the other Kellogg Supply employees to provide the best possible customer serviceReceive customer inquiries related to pricing, availability, delivery, back orders, returns, credits and ordersAssist in daily store opening and closing proceduresActively engage in increasing knowledge of industry, products, customers and sales techniquesAll other job-related activities assigned by SupervisorExperience/Skills:Knowledge of paint, paint processes and application necessaryKnowledge of building products and how they are sold. Detailed knowledge of specific product area is a plus (i.e. windows, doors, decking, framing material)Understanding of company pricing, discounts and estimating formulas and guidelinesStrong interpersonal and customer relations skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentAbility to organize work and meet tight deadlinesStrong attention to detail and follow-throughBasic math and measurement skillsProficient in Microsoft Office ProductsProficient with POS systems (building supply specific a plus)Minimum Requirements:High School Diploma or equivalent2-5 years of related experienceValid driver's licenseWork Environment:Kellogg Supply Company is an independently owned and operated building supply company.
