Equipment includes injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment, process water systems, compressed air systems and automated paint lines.Responsibilities And DutiesMentoring and Monitoring ApprenticeCorrecting safety issues involving equipment and facilitiesPerforming preventative maintenance on equipment on systems such as injection molding machines, paint lines and process water systemsUsing knowledge gained through education and experience to troubleshoot and perform problem solving equipment throughout the manufacturing facility leading to root cause corrective actions and repairs.Installing, performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, electrical and mechanical equipmentEducation And ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required, Journeyman card preferredA minimum of 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment requiredBasic understanding Electrical, Hydraulic and/or Mechanical systems requiredExperience with troubleshooting and repairing Electrical, Hydraulic and Mechanical systems preferredSkills And AbilitiesPossesses the ability to gather and analyze information and make decisions from a limited number of choices.A minimum score of 50 on the Wonderlic Select Assessment (Traditional score of 20 on the Cognitive portion).Travel RequirementsThis position typically does not require any travel.DisclaimerThe information contained in this job description is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of the job, nor are they intended to be an all-inclusive list of the skills and abilities required to do the job.
