Mainframe Programmer/Developer

Location: Pennington, NJ

Onsite: 3 days a week

Rate: $69/hr. w2

Contract: 6-18 months

Interview process: 1 video interview then one face to face interview (must face to face)

Must have: Cobol, DB2, JCL, mainframe batch processing (midnight cycles/end of day), good communication skills

Core Requirements:

COBOL
DB2
JCL
Mainframe batch processing (end-of-day / midnight cycles)

Environment Specifics:

Fully classic mainframe environment
No CICS involvement needed
Covers full lifecycle of batch-oriented processing

Nice To Have’s

• Agile framework experience required

• Tools:

Jira / Horizon
Endevor (code repository)
ISPW (nice to have; transitioning toward it)
Octane (testing; previously test scripts)
Exposure to Copilot for code rewrites/modifications

Candidate Profile

Strong communication skills (critical due to offshore coordination)
