Warehouse Supervisor

Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for supervising warehouse personnel while overseeing the shipping and receiving functions of the warehouse. Essential duties and responsibilities include overseeing shipping and receiving functions and other warehouse operations as needed, ensuring optimal inventory levels of full goods are maintained in order to fulfill daily sales needs, ensuring efficient utilization of space; establishing warehouse layout and route truck loading patterns that minimize loading times and guarantee proper stock rotation, supervising team of warehouse employees; ensuring team is adequately staffed, managed, trained and evaluated, managing within budgetary and operational guidelines, complying with OSHA regulations as well as company established policies and procedures, maintaining and enforcing standards of health, safety, and security, making recommendations and implementing processes to improve the overall productivity, quality and safety of warehouse operations.

Job requirements include a high school diploma, GED or equivalent required; bachelor's degree strongly preferred, a minimum of 3 years of Warehouse, Operations or Logistics experience required, previous supervisory and/or leadership experience preferred, experience working with manual or powered pallet jacks preferred; forklift certification a plus, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
