Location: Canton, MA 02021
Salary: $75,000-$80,000 annually
Hourly Equivalent: Approximately $36-$38 per hour
Shift: Typical AM Shift
Hours: 7:30 AM-3:30 PM OR 8:00 AM-4:30 PM

Zing Recruiting is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate movement of materials and products. This position will supervise warehouse staff, coordinate inventory activities, and support production, receiving, and shipping operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, warehouse or manufacturing experience, and a commitment to safety, organization, and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping.
• Lead, train, and support warehouse employees to ensure productivity, safety, and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate material flow between warehouse, production, and shipping departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Oversee the loading and unloading of materials and finished products.
• Ensure proper handling, labeling, storage, and organization of materials.
• Oversee the safe operation of forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Monitor warehouse performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and processes.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, damaged materials, and shipping or receiving issues.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, environmental, and operational policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Assist with scheduling, staffing, employee training, and performance management.
• Prepare and maintain warehouse reports and documentation.
• Work closely with purchasing, production, logistics, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; additional education in logistics, supply chain, or business is a plus.
• 3+ years of warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing experience.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience required.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.
• Forklift certification or experience operating material-handling equipment preferred.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse, inventory, and shipping/receiving processes.
• Strong computer skills and experience with ERP or warehouse management systems.
• Excellent organizational, communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
• Ability to lift and move materials as required by the position.
• Flexibility to work overtime or adjust schedules when business needs require.
