Warehouse LeadThe Warehouse Lead will plan, and direct delivery operations related functions and activities within the warehouse. Candidates should be proactive and forward thinking, striving to mitigate risks and solve potential problems before they arise. Stone slab handling experience strongly preferred.The Warehouse Lead will be accountable for setting a leadership example and for building a team that drives continuous improvement. This individual will strive to achieve goals regarding productivity, inventory management, quality control, OSHA, and cost management. Must possess strong operations acumen, employee relations, customer service, and leadership capabilities.What You'll Be Doing:Inbound safety and timely materials inventory of material shipmentsInspect and document incoming inventoryAccurately account, track, and maintain inventory of incoming shipments in P21Maintain proper accounting and documentation of shipped/delivered product in P21Inspect outbound product prior to delivery and shippingWork with Customer Service team and Account Managers to prioritize shipments and deliveries as necessaryReview driver routes and ensure efficient use of delivery trucksSafely and efficiently deliver product to customersMaintain adequate inventory of shipping and packaging materialsReview shipping and logistics rates periodically to ship product in a cost efficient manner while maintaining high customer service levelsInventory managementPeriodically inspect, document, and maintain all warehouse equipment in good working condition, including but not limited to: Delivery trucks, forklifts, storage racks, and tools.You're A Great Fit If You Have:Experience in the tile or stone industry or slab handling experience strongly preferredAbility to plan the efficient storage of inventory to support timely inbound and outbound shipping and receivingExtreme organizationPerform periodic physical inventory counts to ensure that physical stock matches P21 and research discrepancies as necessaryExperience in supervising warehouse personnelEnsure that warehouse personnel follow all laws and company policiesEquipment maintenance and managementClean criminal and driving record.Clean driving recordPhysical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 40 poundsWhat We Offer: Great Mon-Fri work schedule, 90% Company paid medical and dental insurance after 30 days, up to 4% total match 401k plan, paid holidays, and PTO.
